BTS ARMY gets emotional as Jin calls RM and V his ‘babies’ in touching farewell message for military duty

NONSAN, SOUTH KOREA: BTS member Jin recently touched the hearts of the ARMY, the devoted fanbase of BTS, by sharing a heartfelt farewell message for his fellow BTS members, RM (the group's leader) and V, as they embark on their military enlistment.

Jin, also known by his real name Kim Seok-jin, is presently fulfilling his mandatory military service in South Korea, a requirement for all able-bodied men in the country, that spans 18-21 months.

Jin calls RM and V his 'babies'

Jin recently took to his Instagram account, sharing a photo with RM and V, accompanied by a heartfelt caption in Korean that deeply resonated with the ARMY.

The translated caption conveyed, "Don't get hurt and drive safely my babies~"

In addition to this image, Jin provided an update on himself and fellow BTS member J-Hope with a caption that translated to, "Sergeant Corporal (on vacation)."

As the oldest and the first member of BTS to enlist in the military, Jin affectionately referred to RM and V as his babies, deeply touching the hearts of the ARMY. 

As reported by AP News, three BTS members, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, have been in the military for a while, and Jimin and Jung Kook will join them soon.

The plan is for all seven to come back together as a group in 2025 after finishing their service. RM and V will go through five weeks of combat training before getting specific roles.

The Military Manpower Administration stresses that the singers will follow the regular conscription process like other South Korean males.

After Jin shared a heartfelt message for his fellow members RM and V, numerous fans came forward to convey their emotions.

A user wrote, "I'm in absolutely tears because their old GC was called 'Seokjinnie and the 6 babies' THEYRE JUST HIS BABIES."
