LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Calista Flockhart has opened up about her relationship with her husband and ‘Star Wars’ actor Harrison Ford, especially reflecting on their initial years.

The two, who eventually got married in 2010, met at the 59th annual Golden Globes 2002.

"I had never seen Star Wars, which I know sounds really crazy. But I grew up in a small town without a movie theater," Flockhart said as she shared her first experience of meeting Harrison.

Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford always support each other

One thing is sure, it wasn’t love at first sight. “This is some lascivious old man and what is he doing at our table?" the 59-year-old shared with The Times.

However, today, both complement each other beautifully. As Calista enjoys her refreshing hikes, she doesn’t stop Harrison from continuing with his passion for flying despite quite a few crashes.

"Of course I worry, but I’m happy he’s happy," she explained.

She was also asked about the anorexia rumors that persisted at the beginning of her career. "It was painful, it was complicated," Flockhart shared.

The actress had to deal with a lot of scrutiny and pressure from the press back then. "I was an easy target, I guess... I did think that it was going to ruin my career,” she said.

Flockhart continued about her struggle, "I just put my head down. I always felt like, 'Calista, you're a good person, you're not mean to anybody,' and I'm confident in that."

"Solo is starting to look like Biden 🤔" a person said, poking fun at Harrison's appearance.

A user commented, "Yet she kept pursuing him….and we all know why don’t we?"

One person suggested she went ahead with Harrison for money, noting, "Ford might of been lascivious, but he was also very rich, and that's what really matters."

"It's far more amazing that they have remained together so long as a Hollywood couple than it is because of a 22-year difference in age," another online user observed.
