Cameron Diaz welcomes her second child Cardinal with husband Benji Madden, fans say 'happy for you both'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are reportedly now parents to a boy as they recently welcomed their second child named Cardinal Madden.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, are already parents to four-year-old daughter Raddix, born in 2019, PEOPLE reported.

Taking to Instagram on March 22, the actress and her musician husband issued a joint statement, saying, “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden❤️🙏He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here!”

“For the kid's safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute ☺️We are feeling so blessed and grateful 🍀,” they wrote.
The new parents also added, “Sending much love from our fam to yours 🙏❤️Best wishes and Good Afternoon!! 🤘⚡️.”

This came after Diaz, who is reportedly now focusing more on her growing family than her work, earlier expressed her views on motherhood.
The 51-year-old, who was last seen in 2022’s ‘Back In Action’, once said on the GOOP's podcast, “It's totally opened up. I'm excited. I've got 50 or 60 years to go — I want to live to be 110, since I've got a young child.”
“I think you have this amazing moment in your 40s where you appreciate who your parents are, and I want to have that moment with her — be there with her in her 40s,” she asserted.
Cameron Diaz praises Benji Madden for being a good father
Besides, during an episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Diaz reportedly called her husband “the best dad ever”.
She added, “He's like, Benj at home, being the best dad ever and running all of his businesses, and then he just gets up there and he's like, 'Yeah, all right, pyro! Pfft!’”
