94 firefighters responded to Cara Delevingne's LA home

Speaking to ET, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department stated that Delevigne's residence in California caught fire just before 4 am PT.

The intensity of the flames necessitated the deployment of 94 firefighters to extinguish the flames which took them more than two hours.

"Firefighters arrived to find a 6,650 square foot two-story home built in 1971, with heavy fire in the rear, which consumed one room in the rear and developed into a deep-seated attic fire," stated the Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson.

"Crews confirmed all occupants were out of the home and then pulled back into defensive mode due to the long duration of heavy fire exposing the structural members. The house subsequently sustained a roof collapse, as firefighters continued to apply hose streams from the exterior," the spokesperson added.

"Ultimately, it took 94 firefighters two hours and 16 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames," the spokesperson stated, adding that one firefighter was shifted to a hospital and is listed in fair condition.

One individual sustained minor smoke inhalation. The cause of the massive fire currently remains under investigation.

The model-actress' house which was featured in an Architectural Digest spread in 2021 was purchased in 2019.

The house boasts four bedrooms and six bathrooms and over 8,000 square feet and is also known for its historical significance, according to TMZ.

Originally constructed in 1941 by the family that founded the Vons supermarket chain, the Von der Ahes, the 'Paper Towns' actress' home holds a legacy that adds another layer to the unfortunate incident.

Previously, Delevingne owned a Hollywood home she shared with her sister and actress/model Poppy Delevingne before they sold it to Usher for $3.4 million in September 2022.

The sisters purchased the home from Jared Leto, according to The Daily Mail. The massive fire comes amidst a tumultuous period for the 'Life in a Year' actress who in 2022 checked herself into rehabilitation for substance abuse issues following a series of concerning incidents captured by paparazzi.

"People want my story to be this after-school special where I just say, 'Oh look, I was an addict, and now I'm sober and that’s it.' And it's not as simple as that. It doesn’t happen overnight," Delevingne said of her rehabilitation in 2023.
