Cardi B blasts ex Offset for being ‘spiteful' toward their children during holidays amid bitter divorce

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cardi B and Offset’s split has continued to 2025, with the 32-year-old songstress snapping at the father of her three children for neglecting them during the holiday season. 

While the ‘WAP’ singer filed for divorce from the Migos rapper over the summer last year, the bad blood between them has not receded. Cardi recently slammed her estranged ex, claiming he tried to “ruin her” and did not attend to the children during the holiday season to “spite” her. 

Taking to her X spaces on Tuesday, January 14, Cardi B slammed Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, 33, for not buying their children gifts for Christmas.

Taking to her X, Cardi B shared with her fans, “Do you guys know that my kids didn’t receive no Christmas gifts from somebody in particular?” as reported by HipHopDX.

“Mutha*****s want to make it seem on social media like I was keeping my kids away from them, like to make movies on social media, but purposely fly to New York to buy their kids gift and guess how many kids did they buy my kids? Zero,” continued Cardi in the animated rant. 

Throwing shades at her soon-to-be ex, she added, “A mutha****a thought he was gonna ruin my year and have me f****d up like they had me f****d up last year, but I’m so strong.”

“I’m so f***ing strong and it doesn’t affect me anymore that even after you try to ruin me by being spiteful towards me and my kids, I still got my a** up and went to f***ing work,” she reiterated. 

Cardi continued in her rant, “You wanna talk about you haven’t accepted the divorce because you’re not gonna be on my terms because you just wanna see the kids.”

“You wanna see the kids?” she rhetorically asked, before revealing, “You just called your daughter for the first time this year yesterday. Your newborn.”

Her anger toward Offset went manifold as she revealed the musician didn’t buy anything for the children, “You love your kids so much and you ain’t bought them s**t for Christmas, but you came to New York to buy your other kids gifts, but you ain’t bought my kids s**t on purpose to spite me.”

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, tied the knot with Offset in 2017, and has three children with him - daughter Kulture, six, son Wave, three, and the newborn baby who arrived in September 2024.

Elsewhere in the rant, the pop star accused her estranged husband and his mother Latabia Woodward of robbing her. “I ain’t listen after you and your momma robbed me,” she claimed, before adding, “Yeah, you and your mom robbed me cold, wiped my nose. Told you stop f***ing playing with me.”

She, however, did not reveal the nature of their slight. 

Cardi B further confessed that during her seven-year marriage with Offset, she “couldn’t even enjoy [her] own wins because [she] felt like he was going through something," as reported by Billboard. 

The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker continued, “And this is the realest s–t somebody could ever do for you. I used to pray for this person before I prayed for myself. And then this m*********r had the nerve to say that I was being ‘competitive.'”
