WASHINGTON, DC: Carla Hall, the star of Max’s 'Chasing Flavor', reveals that she had a natural miscarriage right before she married her husband Matthew Lyons.

Hall said she accepted her fate and moved on as she found acceptance.

How did Carla Hall deal with her miscarriage?

The 59-year-old chef told People that she never really wanted children, but changed her mind after she got pregnant.

However, she lost the baby when she was eight or nine weeks along. She was about to go to the Bahamas for a private chef gig when she found out.

“I just accepted it,” she recalled, adding “And I just sat there and I’m like, ‘Okay, there’s nothing I can do about this."'

She further said, "I went to the doctor and she said, ‘Well, how are you?’ I said, ‘Well, what do I need to do to go and do my job?’ And I know it sounds cold, but there was truly an acceptance — there was an acceptance there.”

She said she was meant to do something else with her life and that everything happens for a reason.

“I believe that everything happens for a reason,” she said, adding “And honestly, it was grace from the universe. I said, ‘Okay, I’m supposed to do something else.’”
