DENTON, TEXAS: A contestant on 'American Idol' moved judge Carrie Underwood to tears with a stunning performance of her hit song 'Jesus Take The Wheel'.

Breanna Nix, a stay-at-home mom from Denton, Texas chose the song for her audition, delivering a version that left a lasting impact on the audience, including Underwood.

But it wasn’t just Breanna’s voice that made the moment special. She was accompanied by her husband, Austin, who played the piano during her audition, while their young son, Emerson, made his way over to sit on Carrie Underwood’s lap as she performed.

The interaction melted hearts in the room, and by the end of the song, Carrie was visibly emotional.

“I’m sorry, he’s just adorable and sweet and it got to me,” Carrie admitted, wiping away tears. Breanna later shared that auditioning was about more than just singing it was about proving to her son that “anything is possible.”

Brianna responded to American Idol's Instagram post featuring her audition video, calling it both the “scariest” but “best” moment of her life. “That was the scariest but BEST moment of my life!!!
