Cassie Ventura hopes investigation will hold ex Sean 'Diddy' Combs responsible for his conduct
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura is supporting law enforcement as they are combing through Sean "Diddy" Combs’ multiple residences concerning sex trafficking investigations.
The 37-year-old ‘Official Girl’ songstress is appreciating the initiatives of the police through her lawyer after Homeland Security raided the hip-hop mogul’s Los Angeles and Miami residences.
Cassie, who was in a relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder from 2005 to 2018, also hoped that the investigation would hold Diddy “responsible for his depraved conduct."
Cassie Ventura’s lawyers share her opinion
The ‘Love a Loser’ singer’s attorney Douglas Wigdor recently shared in a statement with Page Six that, "We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law.”
Cassie’s lawyers further added, "Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr Combs responsible for his depraved conduct."
In November 2023, Cassie made accusations of rape and sexual abuse against the music producer. However, they reached a resolution within 24 hours.
During that time Cassie said in a statement, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” before adding, “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Apart from handling Cassie’s lawsuit, Wigdor is reportedly representing an unidentified woman - who is going by the name Jane Doe - in her lawsuit against Diddy.
In her December 2023 lawsuit, the woman claimed she was gang-raped by Combs, ex-Bad Boy president Harve Pierre, and another unnamed man at a Manhattan recording studio when she was 17. She is the fourth person to accuse Diddy of sexual misconduct in the past few months.
50 Cent reacts to the federal investigation
Cassie is not the only celebrity who is taunting Diddy for the federal investigation. Rapper 50 Cent - born Curtis Jackson - started dissing the 'Coming Home' singer after the news broke.
On Monday, when Homeland Security raided the 'Last Night' singer's residences, his two sons - Justin and King Combs - were also seen getting taken away in handcuffs.
The ‘In da Club’ rapper mentioned the incident in his Instagram in a now-deleted post and wrote, “S**t just got real 👀the Fed’s in all the cribs, damn they got the kids in cuffs. 🤦," per Page Six.
Sharing two images of the feds outside Diddy’s Los Angeles residence, he wrote in a follow-up post (also deleted), “Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done 🤷🏽♂️they don’t come like that unless they got a case.”
