The 56-year-old music icon looked radiant as she walked the red carpet at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. Dion wore an all-white ensemble featuring a long skirt and an elegant long-sleeved blouse, accessorized with a silver belt, matching bracelets, and stud earrings. Her son Rene-Charles, 23, looked dapper in a black suit paired with coordinating dress shoes.

Dion recently opened up to People about how her sons Rene-Charles, 23, and 13-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy, have been her pillars of strength during her battle with stiff-person syndrome. "I barely could walk at one point, and I was missing very much living. My kids started to notice. I was like, 'OK, they already lost a parent. I don't want them to be scared,'" she said.

Dion's husband, Rene Angelil, died from throat cancer in 2016. She reassured her children by explaining, "You lost your dad, [but] mom has a condition and it's different. I'm not going to die. It's something that I'm going to learn to live with."

Directed by Irene Taylor, 'I Am: Celine Dion' offers an intimate glimpse into Dion's life, focusing on her struggle with stiff-person syndrome. The official synopsis describes the film as “a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness,” and “a love letter to her fans, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.”

The official trailer, released in May 2024, includes snippets from Dion's illustrious career and confessional-style interviews. In the trailer, Dion poignantly states, “My voice is the conductor of my life,” acknowledging the recent struggles she has faced due to her condition. She adds, “I miss it so much. The people, I miss them. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl.”

During the event, Dion and Rene-Charles shared a sweet red carpet moment.

'I Am: Celine Dion' will be released in theaters on June 25, offering fans a closer look at Dion's journey and the music that has inspired her life.
