On Thursday, October 8, the 58-year-old actor reposted a video on his Instagram Stories, featuring a clip of Irish writer Gerry Hussey. The clip showed Hussey discussing spirituality on Olivia Hunt's ‘On Healing’ podcast in 2025.

The performance coach can be heard saying, “It is a frequency. It's an energy field. And we possess it all the time within ourselves. We are all part of the frequency. We all possess direct access to that.”

Continuing further, he noted that “we both possess the human and the divine, and through consciousness and awareness, when we awaken the peaceful observer and we get beyond our physical human emotions and our physical human needs and the needs of the ego, and we just let go and we release all that and we connect to a feeling, that is the divine frequency.”

Lowe and Painter announced the devastating news via a statement that read, “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” his family wrote, describing their middle daughter as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”

“She was adored by her sisters, and she was deeply loved by her parents…in fact, she was the light of our lives,” they noted, before adding, “Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”

Fiona’s sister Mabel promised to honor her forever

Later, Fiona’s elder sister Mabel also mourned her sibling’s death. Posting on Instagram, she wrote, “I love you so much fiona ❤️ I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now.”

“I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much,” the 17-year-old added.

Besides, Lowe’s elder brother Rob and his family have reportedly continued to support them as they navigate this difficult time.
