Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan want to ‘move ahead’

Another source added, “Both would like to get beyond these final issues. Each is in love with someone else and wants to move ahead.”

This came as reports noted that the actor and his former wife were unable to resolve their financial woes, which included capital gain from the ‘Magic Mike’ franchise.

Speaking on behalf of Dewan, her spokesperson reportedly said, “Jenna is just looking for a fair resolution of community assets of the marriage, under California State Law. Jenna wants to reach a final determination and close this chapter of her life as soon as possible.”

They also mentioned that the former pair has “been trying to settle for over five years and have gone to many settlement conferences during that time.”

Channing Tatum denies any wrongdoing

Tatum’s representative did not agree with them as they alleged, “She says she wants a fair settlement but is ignoring all post-separation work Channing and his partners have done to enhance Magic Mike. She keeps stalling negotiations but says she wants to resolve this.”

Besides, the 44-year-old’s legal team asserted that he “has never denied [Dewan] of her share of the community assets or income. [Dewan] has been involved in all aspects of community investments, opportunities, and transactions.”

“All transactions were conducted at arm's length; [Dewan] was represented by legal counsel, signed gift tax returns, and actively participated in transactions for the benefit of the community and their daughter. The evidence will demonstrate that [Tatum] has never taken actions to harm the community or [Dewan],” they noted.

The mother-of-two told People, “He is really good with cravings and also amazing with helping out with Eve and Callum with their schedules. And he's constantly reminding me to rest, which is really nice. He's amazing in that way.”

“Third pregnancy while chasing two other kids around definitely makes you a little more tired. I find crawling into bed at 9 p.m. is definitely different this pregnancy. But overall, everything's been going well,” the ‘Step Up’ star added.
