PROSPECT HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS: Conservative podcaster Charlie Kirk sparked outrage this week after unleashing a shockingly misogynistic rant against music superstar Taylor Swift.

Over 25 minutes on his 'Thoughtcrime' podcast, Kirk and his co-hosts slut-shamed and criticized Swift’s looks while portraying her efforts to boost voter engagement as a threat, as per MediaTouch.

Joining Kirk on the podcast were Turning Point USA executives Tyler Bowyer and Jack Posobiec along with former Fox News writer Blake Neff. The right-wing figures instantly opened fire on Swift, with Posobiec claiming her “body count” will one day have its own museum.

Kirk soon piled on, asserting Swift “isn’t leading people to God” but rather to “wokeism”. He later questioned whether she has any “eggs left” and said she “probably hates” her fans.

Bowyer unleashed his sexist broadsides, attacking Swift as “ugly” and asserting, "There's no men that really enjoy Swift." He also blasted her music as appealing primarily to “all women and gays."

Charlie Kirk slams Taylor Swift for encouraging female voter participation

The impetus for the crude vitriol appears to have been Swift’s recent push to register young voters. “She just did something. She got 4 million girls registered in 24 hours,” Kirk complained, adding, “She’s going to destroy the country.”

Although the specific incident to which Kirk is referring remains unclear, Swift gained significant attention in the political realm in September of this year.

Her Instagram post coinciding with National Voter Registration Day led to an unprecedented surge in web traffic on Vote.org. This surge facilitated the registration of over 35,000 new voters.

According to Andrea Hailey, CEO of Vote.org, the site experienced a remarkable increase, with an average of 13,000 users every 30 minutes during that period, as reported by Axios.

The 35,252 new registrations recorded on National Voter Registration Day marked a significant achievement for the organization, representing the highest number since 2020, indicating a 23% rise from the previous year. Additionally, the count of registered 18-year-olds more than doubled compared to 2022.

Internet shreds Charlie Kirk for disparaging remarks against Taylor Swift

Upon learning of Kirk's disparaging remarks about Swift, the internet erupted with outrage, with various individuals expressing their disdain against the podcast host.

One X user pointed out, "Charlie Kirk is a grown man whining about a pop star using her influence when he uses his influence as a propagandist daily. The hypocrisy."

Another user's comment encapsulated the sentiment of jealousy, stating, "Sounds like a jealous man."

A third individual took a more scathing approach, calling Kirk "a tiny, tiny, insecure little boy." Echoing the sentiment of feeling threatened, one user remarked, "Charlie Kirk is just another beta male threatened by a strong woman."

Highlighting Kirk's lack of comparable influence, another user remarked, "If Charlie Kirk had a fraction of the followers Taylor Swift has, he might be of some influence…but he doesn’t on both counts. So in typical MAGA fashion, all he can do is attack and criticize…make some noise to make himself feel significant."
