WASHINGTON, DC: Conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk announced to his podcast audience on Monday, July 14, that he was done talking about the Epstein files after President Donald Trump called him on Saturday, July 12.

Turning Point USA, Kirk's organization, hosted its Student Action Summit in Florida during the weekend, where many speakers slammed the administration for its conclusion that many conspiracy theories surrounding Jeffrey Epstein are all false.

Following the Summit, CNN’s Kristen Holmes reported on Sunday, July 13, "President Trump called Charlie Kirk Saturday to express his support for Attorney General Pam Bondi after being shown a clip of Kirk seemingly supporting Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino over Bondi at Kirk’s Turning Point USA conference in FL."

Interestingly, Bondi has been facing flak over her statements on the Epstein case, which she has worked in recent days to clarify.

Last week, various reports showed that Bongino was threatening to quit his role at the FBI unless Bondi was removed as the attorney general, sending shockwaves across the MAGA base.

Following this, Kirk announced to his podcast audience on Monday, "Plenty was said this last weekend at our event about Epstein. Honestly, I’m done talking about Epstein for the time being. I’m gonna trust my friends in the administration, I’m gonna trust my friends in the government to do what needs to be done, solve it, ball’s in their hands."

"But let me just say this again – everyone knows my opinion about the Epstein thing, the messaging fumble. I would love to see the DOJ move to unseal the grand jury testimony. I think that would be a big win. I would love to see that," the conservative firebrand added.

He concluded his statement saying, "And I’m gonna trust my friends Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, my friend Pam Bondi. All these guys, Todd Blanche, I’m gonna trust them to solve it. Ball’s in their court. I think that there was plenty of, let’s say, speeches that were directed towards this topic this last weekend. So we don’t need to spend our valuable time on this program relitigating it."

President Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday and defended Pam Bondi. He wrote, "What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!"

"We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein," he added.
