Chelsea Handler takes a savage swipe at Elon Musk when asked if she would date him for country's benefit

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Chelsea Handler has very firmly and clearly stated that she would never have sex with Elon Musk even if it’s for the country's benefit.
During an interview with journalist Kara Swisher on Saturday, March 8, at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival in Austin, the comedian was asked if she would date the Tesla CEO. Swisher said, “I told her to take one for the team and date Elon Musk and bring him back,” the Daily Beast reported.
But Handler immediately replied, “There’s a lot I would do for the country, but having sex with Elon Musk is not one of them. I can’t.”

Chelsea Handler slams DOGE head Elon Musk
The 50-year-old comedian also expressed her frustration at Elon Musk, who is leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in Donald Trump's second administration.

“I mean, did anyone vote for Elon Musk to be the president? I mean, can’t we come together—Republicans and Democrats—and say we don’t want that. Can’t we agree on that, at least?” she asked.
She added, “I don’t know why we can’t somehow figure out a way to get together and, at least, have one goal in mind to not be, you know, a Russian asset.”
Chelsea Handler says she won't let Donald Trump 'steal' her joy

Besides Musk, Handler also slammed Trump and his aides as she noted, “You know, the first Trump presidency, for instance, I let it take me down, and I let it steal my joy.”
“And I am not going to do that again. It’s the power of being optimistic in the dark and not going down a wormhole,” she told Swisher.
During the interview, Handler even clarified that she’s “not a settle-down kind of girl,” prompting the interviewer to tell her she would be Vice President JD Vance’s nightmare.

Chelsea Handler says men are ‘scared of women’
The ‘Fun Size’ star then added, “Those types of men that want to keep women at home and being mothers, and you know, not having a career, like that’s just so antiquated and it’s so slow and it’s so boring.”
“I think the political situation we’re in is a direct reflection of the fact that men are so scared of women. Like why are you acting like this if you’re not?” Handler asked.

Handler, however, asserted that “women are more powerful and more independent than we’ve ever been, and that isn’t going to change.”
This came after the TV host dismissed the rumor that romance was brewing between her and English actor Ralph Fiennes. But during another interview, she did confirm that she’s dating someone, as reported by the Daily Mail.
“I have someone that I'm seeing now that I'm very attracted to and that I like having sex with, and so that's a really good, nice little thing I have going,” she added.
