Why did police come to Chris Pine's home?

The police reached over a call alleging a report of assault at the address which matched Chris Pine’s LA home.

After discussing the call with Pine, the LAPD officers concluded that it was bogus and was intentionally placed to cause unnecessary trouble using the actor’s address.

The authorities tried to reach out to the person who made the call, but he was uncooperative and disconnected the line without answering them properly. The law enforcement was able to determine that the caller lived outside California.

Now, authorities are trying to book the person for false police report and to establish if there is any connection between the caller and previous hoax reports linked to Pine’s address.
