Chris Stapleton and wife donate $1 million to LA wildfire relief
Chris and Morgane Stapleton are some of those people who have stepped up to do what they can to help the people amid the devastating wildfires.
According to Whiskey Riff, the country music couple founded their charitable organization Outlaw State of Kind in 2016 and used the fund to help with many causes.
Their website reads, "Outlaw State of Kind is Chris and Morgane Stapleton’s charitable fund that supports a variety of causes that are close to their heart."
Notably, the charitable organization was put into action as they announced that they would donate money to help with wildfire relief efforts in California.
The Outlaw State of Kind took to their social media account and announced that they’ve contributed $1 million to help the Los Angeles area.
The caption of the Instagram post read, "Outlaw State of Kind has donated $1 million to support national and local organizations providing wildfire relief in Los Angeles. Join us in supporting however you can."
Moreover, the national organizations that 'Outlaw State of Kind' chose to partner with are the American Red Cross, Direct Relief’s California Fire Relief, GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund 2025, Project Hope Save The Children, and the Children’s Emergency Fund.
Furthermore, their donations aided local organizations such as the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund, the California Fire Foundation’s California Wildfire & Disaster Relief Fund, and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s California Wildfires Recovery Fund.
The blazing and uncontrollable wildfires started in the residential community known as the Pacific Palisades. Unfortunately, the natural disaster has claimed the lives of at least 29 people and has left hundreds of people homeless in the greater Los Angeles area.
The Outlaw State of Kind has also made sure to take care of some organizations and foundations that might not be at the forefront of other’s lists. They sent some funds to arts programs, like MusicCares’ Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, Sweet Relief’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund, and We Are Moving The Needle’s Wildlife Relief Fund.
