LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of Adam Driver are furious after CNN’s talk show host Chris Wallace told him that ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ does not “look like the typical movie star,” shaming him for his unconventional leading man looks.

During a recent appearance at ‘Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?’, Driver was asked by the host a controversial questions that did not sit well with his fans.

Wallace, after stating the Driver doesn’t “look like the typical movie star”, asked him whether that has helped or hindered his career in Hollywood, per New York Post.



 

The 40-year-old star, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming Michael Mann’s Enzo Ferrari biopic ‘Ferrari’ on December 25, was seemingly startled.

Nevertheless, he replied, “I look how I look. I can’t change that, so I guess it helped me.”

Continuing with the same vein of discussion, he said, “The New Yorker has also called me a horse-face.”

He recalled, “I remember reading one reviewer [who said], ‘His agent probably doesn’t know whether to put him in a movie or the Kentucky Derby.’ So if you believe the good thing, you have to believe the bad thing. I try to not absorb anything.”

The fans of the actor weren't happy with the line of discussion and slammed Wallace for his not-so-subtle question about Driver's supposed "ugliness."

Referring to the fact that he left Fox News in December 2021 after 18 years of service, the fans criticized him in strong words.

Netizens slammed Chris Wallace for his apparently intrusive questioning and criticized him in strong words.

Someone else said, "Wallace has a face for radio…"



 

Another fan of Adam Driver said, "Chris Wallace forgot to look in the mirror."



 

"What’s with the long face. Adam is a great actor, “Lucky Logan” was one of the best," remarked another.



 

"Driver handed it well, gained a fan. Wallace is a pud," said someone else.



 

"Now you know why Fox ran Wallace off," said someone else.



 

Another angry fan questioned, "Chris Wallace called Adam Driver UGLY?!!!??!!??"



 

"Chris Wallace asking Adam driver if he thinks HES ugly …you know some old ppl need to just…," mockingly threatened another fan.



 

"Saving some receipts of Chris Wallace getting dragged for this unhinged line of question about Adam Driver’s looks. You will never be him, babe. Adam is insanely attractive and this is the ugliest behavior imaginable," said another.



 

Another fan vented their anger saying, "I don't who the f**k Is Chris Wallace but it's so unrespectfull being so rude with an actor of Adam Driver's category, he is one of the most talented male actors and physical gorgeous as inside. Adam Driver and any f**king person in the whole world deserves kindness and respect."



 

"I just think it's hilarious that Adam Driver has been considered a heartthrob for the better part of a decade and clones of him now dominate romance novel covers, but Chris Wallace thinks he's ugly because he doesn't look like......Robert Redford," another fan slammed Wallace.



 

Adam Driver recalls it was 'very emotional shooting it with Harrison'

Elsewhere in the interview, Driver talked about his experience of acting as the antagonistic Kylo Ren in the 'Star Wars' movies. He said he “never lives down” the fact then Ren killed his onscreen father Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford.

He recalled, "Somebody reminds me about that every day,” to which Wallace replied shockingly, “Are you serious?"

The 'House of Gucci' star added, “Not every day, but yeah. It used to be more, but now it’s probably once a month someone will let me know that I killed Han Solo.”

He praised Ford saying, “Harrison was so generous and contemplative, and to me that was a great moment on set, even though it was his death.”
