Chrisean Rock pens emotional tribute to son for missing his first birthday after release from prison
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rapper and reality television star Chrisean Rock was released from jail on Friday, September 6, after spending three months behind bars due to drug-related charges.
The 23-year-old mother missed her son Chrisean Jr's first birthday during her time in custody but is now expressing her gratitude for being reunited with him.
Chrisean Rock's heartfelt message to her son after release
Chrisean Rock shares her son with her former partner, rapper Blueface, who is currently serving a four-year prison sentence for violating his probation stemming from a 2021 attack.
Rock took to social media to share an emotional tribute to her son, Chrisean Jr. She expressed regret for missing his first birthday on September 3.
"To be with you Today set free a couple days from your birthday is a Blessing," she wrote.
"Happy 1 years old September 3. Christian JesusPorter I love you. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him," she added.

Chrisean Rock reflects on moments and milestones and what truly matters
Chrisean Rock shared a more thoughtful reflection about parenting, addressing the challenges and emotions of missing significant milestones.
"In the journey of parenthood, moments and milestones hold special places in our hearts, yet it’s important to remember that your love and presence in your child’s life are what truly matter," she stated in the caption of her post.
Rock further acknowledged the sadness of missing her son's first birthday.
Earlier this week, Blueface's father, Jonathan 'Papa Blue' Michael, threw Chrisean Jr's first birthday party.
"Missing a significant event like a first birthday can bring feelings of sadness or regret, but it’s also an opportunity to reflect on the continuous love and care you provide every day," Rock shared in the emotional post.

Chrisean Rock's legal challenges
While Chrisean Rock is currently free, she continues to face serious legal challenges.
She was arrested in June after walking into a Los Angeles courthouse for a probation violation related to a 2021 Tamar Braxton assault case.
Following her arrest, she was extradited to Oklahoma in connection to drug charges as per TMZ.
Rock is facing accusations of "possession of marijuana with intent to distribute" and "possession of a controlled dangerous substance." If convicted, she could face up to eight years in prison.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding her legal situation, Rock expressed that she is focused on improving her life, mentioning her desire to redevelop her "purity."
