LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christian Slater has a new role to celebrate—fatherhood once again!

The 'Mr Robot' star and his wife, Brittany Lopez, have joyfully welcomed their second child together with People magazine confirming that the couple's little bundle of joy, a baby boy was born in July.

Though the couple is keeping many details, including their son’s name, under wraps for now, the excitement in their growing family is palpable.

Already parents to a lively 4-year-old daughter, whom they welcomed in 2019, the Slaters are no strangers to the joys of raising little ones.

Slater also shares two grown children, Eliana, 22, and Jaden, 25, with his ex-wife, Ryan Haddon. The new addition is the actor's fourth child.

The happy couple first shared their baby news with the world earlier this year, making quite the impression on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Slater's film 'Unfrosted.'

Brittany, glowing and radiant, showed off her baby bump in a stunning floral off-the-shoulder gown, while Slater, ever the proud husband, stood by her side in classic slacks and a jacket, his smile saying it all.

Christian Slater shares 'beautiful milestone' of baby no 1

Back in October 2019, as Christian Slater celebrated the premiere of the fourth and final season of 'Mr Robot’, he also had another reason to smile—his journey into fatherhood with Brittany.

Speaking to People at the New York City event, Slater shared his experience of welcoming their first daughter, Lena.

“It’s cleaning those bottles — there’s so many pieces to break down with that stuff, it’s a milestone to get through it,” Slater humorously remarked, reflecting on the early challenges of parenting.

But beyond the everyday tasks, Slater revealed a moment that truly touched his heart. “An official milestone is that she’s actually starting to really acknowledge us and smile, which is a big deal,” he said, his voice filled with warmth.

He went on to explain the joy of witnessing his daughter’s first genuine smiles. “Before, it would just be this involuntary thing,” Slater continued. “Now, she sees and smiles, and that’s a beautiful milestone.”

In that moment, it was clear that for Slater, the simple act of a baby’s smile was as meaningful as any Hollywood achievement.

Christian Slater, 53, and Brittany Lopez, 35, met in 2009 while he was on vacation at the Little Palm Island Resort in Florida.

At the time, Lopez was 21 years old and visiting the resort with her aunt. In a humorous misunderstanding, Slater mistook Lopez's proposing to her aunt as a "lesbian engagement" and went over to congratulate them.

After realizing his mistake, the two hit it off and began dating.

Slater and Lopez dated for a few years before marrying in December 2013 at a Miami, Florida courthouse.

They had planned to just get their marriage license, but spontaneously decided to tie the knot right then. A few days later on Christmas Day, they had an intimate wedding ceremony in snowy Illinois.

In 2017, Slater posted a sweet photo from their Illinois wedding on Instagram, writing "We were married four years ago today and I've cherished every moment since. 

Prior to his marriage to Brittany Lopez, Christian Slater was married to journalist Ryan Haddon from 2000 to 2007.

Haddon was arrested in Las Vegas in 2005 after allegedly striking Slater with a glass, resulting in a neck injury that required 20 stitches.
