The 'Candyman' singer, 44, was merrily welcoming her large crowd of admirers when a man approached her during an autograph signing in Brazil. He initially got a bit too close while taking selfies with her, and suddenly, the man kissed the singer on her cheeks.

In a video captured by the entertainment website Pop Crave, the American pop artist was engaging with excited fans outside Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Palace Hotel when a male fan hastily planted a kiss on her cheek.

The enthusiastic fan, wearing a black singlet and a fedora hat, threw an arm around the singer as he kissed her on the left cheek before being forced away by her security guard.

Aguilera flinched and backed away, obviously surprised. She did, however, keep signing autographs.

Despite being shoved by someone who appeared to be part of Aguilera's squad, the man did not appear to stop. He approached her again and attempted to snap more selfies. She ended the welcome in the middle and walked away.

She was protected and removed from the area by her crew. "I gotta get to the airport, guys. Muah, muah, muah," Aguilera calmly said before walking away, per News.com.
