WASHINGTON, DC: CNN's Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins appeared on 'The Bachelorette' star Jason Tartick’s business podcast, 'Trading Secrets', on Monday, October 6, where they discussed Presdient Donald Trump’s shockingly low need for sleep.

The journalist revealed that the 79-year-old "does not sleep" during his long trips and that he was "always up and talking."

Kaitlan Collins says Trump 'wakes staff up if they’re asleep' to talk to them

Kaitlan Collins said during the podcast, "He does not sleep. I had this source who said, 'You never want to be on Air Force One on a trip', and I said, 'Why? You’d think you’d want to be in the axis of power, close to Trump.'"

She answered, "He doesn’t sleep on these trips, and you’re going to Asia or something, and that’s like the only time you’re going to sleep before you go on this trip, but Trump is just always up and talking."

Collins also mentioned that the POTUS will even "wake staff up if they’re asleep because he wants to talk to them."

Interestingly, after Tartick said he had only slept for four hours the night before the podcast, Collins expressed, "Four hours is nuts. Four hours is Trump-level."

Moreover, Tartick added he had also heard of Trump’s ability to run on little sleep while he was taking a tour of Fox News’ studios.

The podcast host mentioned that a producer in the control room told him, "None of us are sleeping because the president doesn’t sleep."

"We’re all working two times right now," the producer apparently added.

Meanwhile, Collins claimed that the president is so notorious for his lack of sleep that staffers preparing for his upcoming trip to Southeast Asia know that they are not gonna sleep on that flight.

Trump earlier claimed he's 'not a big sleeper'

Donald Trump earlier told supporters on the campaign trail, "You know, I’m not a big sleeper. I like three hours, four hours, I toss, I turn, I beep-de-beep, I want to find out what’s going on."

More recently, Attorney General Pam Bondi said that none of the White House team "can keep up with him."

"I don’t know how he does it. I mean, none of us know when he sleeps. He’s working all the time, and it’s just constant for him," she added.

Interestingly, Trump's health has also come under scrutiny in recent months, as he was spotted with bruises on his hands and swollen feet. However, none of those were related to his lack of sleep.

hite House press secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed the bruising on his hand to "frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin," which Trump reportedly takes regularly to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.
