CNN reveals Donald Trump’s ‘history-making’ GOP approval rating in surprising U-turn

WASHINGTON, DC: In a surprising turn of events, a CNN data analyst revealed that President Donald Trump has shattered records, with his approval ratings now topping those of every Republican president in the last 40 years.
Over the past few months, Trump faced embarrassingly low approval ratings, fueled by fierce backlash over controversial moves, from dispatching the National Guard and Marines to quash anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles to greenlighting airstrikes on three of Iran’s nuclear sites.

CNN host shocked over Donald Trump’s historic approval rating
In a recent episode, CNN’s Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten broke down the numbers live on air, revealing that Donald Trump had surged to a striking 63% approval rating among Republicans merely five months into his campaign, a solid 10-point jump over where he stood at this point during his first term.
"What are we talking about here? It's history making, it's history making! So why don't we look back? We have all the Republican presidents going back over the last 35, 36, 37 years,” he exclaimed, according to Mirror.
Enten then compared Trump’s numbers with those of former Republican presidents. “Bush 41 had 46%, Bush 43 had 59%, Trump's first term was 53%, but now it's 63%! He beats all the other Republicans on the board,” the data analyst noted.

“And I was looking back even since Reagan, and get this, Donald Trump beat Ronald Reagan when it comes to the strongly approved five months in.”
"The bottom line is, Donald Trump is making history with the Republican base. He is more beloved by this Republican base than any Republican president five months in,” he continued.
The numbers even left Enten’s fellow anchors visibly surprised by the dramatic shift. “Any politician would love to see figures like this, especially when they’re on the rise,” the co-host noted.

Painfully low ratings for Donald Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’
The ‘history-making’ high approval ratings for Donald Trump came just a few days after he suffered painfully low ratings in polls on how the American people view his much hyped ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’.
“If we’re talking about adjectives, how about they think it’s ‘awful’, ‘horrible’ and, to quote our colleague Charles Barkley, ‘terrible, terrible, terrible’,” Enten said in his June 30 episode.
He displayed a screen with the results of surveys on the spending bill from The Washington Post, Pew Research Center, Fox News, Quinnipiac University, and the Kaiser Family Foundation, which showed catastrophic net approval ratings of -19, -20, -21, -26, and -29 percent, respectively.

“You don’t have to be a mathematical genius to know that when the net favourable rating of your bill is somewhere between -19 and -29 points, that is not a positive bill as viewed by the American public,” Enten said, according to Daily Beast.
Enten went on to emphasize that Trump's poor approval ratings on spending did not show up overnight, with Quinnipiac University's devastating numbers remaining unchanged since the beginning of June.
