Courtney Stodden flushes 5-carat diamond engagement ring from ex Chris Sheng down the toilet
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Courtney Stodden is flushing every memory of her ex-fiance Chris Sheng out of her life.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the 29-year-old model and actress can be seen flushing her five-carat diamond ring down the toilet after breaking up with her tech-CEO and fitness enthusiast ex.
The ‘Love Addict’ star started dating Shenf in 2017 and the former couple got engaged in 2021. Two years later, they decided to call it quits in July 2023, per Page Six.
Now, almost a year later, Stodden is getting rid of the sparkling jewel her ex-fiance had given her once as a symbol of their love - probably in the most inconvenient way!

Courtney Stodden flushes her engagement ring down toilet
In the video obtained by the outlet, the ‘Couples Therapy’ alum can be seen grabbing her ring from a jewelry box kept on the sink slab. She said suggestively, “I’m just doing a little last-minute spring cleaning before summer,” and showed off the diamond ring.
As she walked toward the toilet bowl, she added, “I guess diamonds aren’t always a girl’s best friend after all.”
She finally took one look at the jewel and dropped it in the toilet before flushing it out.
“Toodaloo,” she said and added, “Onto the next chapter.”
Speaking of new chapters, since August 2023, Stodden is dating American media executive Jared Safier, 41.

Courtney Stodden's act stuns fans
Internet was left flabbergasted with Stodden's unprecedented act as they took to the social media to share their astonishments.
One of the social media users said, "She could have sold the ring and given the money to charity. What a waste."
"That bathroom is not fancy enough for you to be tossing diamonds down the drain," admonished another social media user.
Another fan, however, said cynically, "Probably a replica. She ain't throwing all that money down the toilet."
Someone else chimed in, "You’re suppose to return it if the marriage is called off. We will see him suing her on Judge Judy🤷🏽♀️."
"Actually, the Ring needs to be returned to the man if the Contract of a Marriage didn’t happen, an Engagement Ring is only the woman’s property if she gets married, I’d take her to Judge Judy lol 😂," quipped someone else.
Another fan joked, "How many people are googling where she lives so we can go infiltrate the plumbing and look for that ring? 🧐🧐🧐🧐."
Meanwhile, someone else remarked, "That ring was 100% fake. Made this video for clout and attention. That wasn't the real ring. Anyone who owns a diamond ring can see that."
"She changed the ring to a fake one. I’m sure when she dropped it," said another user with conviction.
"That’s dumb. If she didn’t want it anymore, donate it to charity," advised someone else.
"The fiance could legally get that back if he decides to take her to court. It’s a conditional contract and there was no marriage. But we all know that wasn’t real," added another fan.
Someone else shared, "I had a ring that looked just like this. Bought online for 25 bucks. She's not stupid....ha."
"Could have just dropped it at Goodwill and made a woman’s dream," said another user.
Another social media observer remarked, "Obviously not a real diamond, no fool would ever do that 🤷♀️."
