Da’Vine Joy Randolph says she has to figure out how to get Oscars tickets
Da’Vine Joy Randolph first mentioned her ticket dilemma in an interview with Vanity Fair published earlier this month.
She said that getting more tickets was her “mission” and that she didn’t care where her family members sat as long as they could be there.
“They’re telling me I may only have one extra ticket, so that’s my mission,” the actress said.
“Can you imagine the people in your life that are, like, ‘I want to come!’ And you’re, like, ‘And you should come because you’ve helped me significantly in my life,’" she added.
“If I can get five — I don’t care if my people are back there [on the balcony], I don’t need five people in my row,” Randolph further said.
“Get Oscar tickets, or buy Oscar tickets, whatever we’ve got to do — I have some family members that would be very upset, so I’ve got to figure that out,” she continued.
