David Harbour shares rare insight into reuniting with Millie Bobby Brown after 'Stranger Things'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: David Harbour has shared his true feelings about working with his ‘Stranger Things’ co-star Millie Bobby Brown once again. The two will reportedly be seen together in an upcoming A24 series written by Jack Thorne, who also wrote ‘Adolescence’.

The actor, 51, played the role of Brown’s father, Jim Hopper, in the horror series that ran from 2016 to 2025. Brown was seen as Eleven, also known as Jane Hopper, in the hit show.

Now, on Sunday, September 6, at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Harbour told E! News that he and Brown "can't get enough" of each other.

“I go anywhere in the world and people know the relationship of Hopper and Eleven. There's something about that I thought was so special,” the ‘Hellboy’ star added.

Harbour further stated that he still “wanted to use the building blocks of the dynamic between me and her” to explore other stories and “build something that was really unique and original.”

“It really is a working relationship, where we love what we bring out in each other. You're in service of a greater story, and we both know how to do that and think about that and talk about that,” he explained, before adding, “I love what we have together and I love to be able to see her on a daily basis.”

Apart from acting, Harbour and Brown are also executive producers of the show along with the ‘Enola Holmes’ actress’ husband, Jake Bongiovi.

“It's very unexpected and we've come up with something that I'm very very proud of. We've gotten two scripts in already and I'm really, really excited about it,” Harbour revealed.

This came after it was reported last year that Brown had filed a harassment and bullying complaint against her on-screen father. 

But later, Harbour addressed it, saying, “It’s simple. It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine.”

“Everyone nowadays is very scared of talking about things. People are very scared of being human. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t know how to navigate this weird media world. But it was completely normal, and we adore each other and always have,” he had added in June.
