David Lynch's children remember legendary 'Twin Peaks' director as 'a guiding light' in heartfelt tribute
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The children of the late legendary filmmaker David Lynch shared a moving tribute for their father and invited fans to join a worldwide group meditation in his honor, in a post on the social media platform X on Saturday, January 18.
The 'Eraserhead' director died at the age of 78 on January 16, as per People. His family made the announcement in a Facebook post without revealing the cause of death at the time.
Lynch was diagnosed with the chronic lung disease emphysema in 2020. He has four children with as many ex-wives.
Lynch shared Jennifer, 56, with his wife Peggy Reavey, Austin, 42, with his second wife Mary Fisk, and Riley, 33, with his third wife Mary Sweeney. His youngest, Lula, 12, was shared between him and his ex-wife Emily Stofle.
