Demi Lovato's Met Gala outfit trolled as she attends event 8 years after calling attendees 'fake' people
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Demi Lovato made a surprising return to the Met Gala for the first time since she called the event 'terrible' in 2016. The singer showed up on the red carpet wearing a silver gown with an epic train by Prabal Gurung. The theme for this year's Met Gala being, 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.'
Lovato attended the Met Gala previously and opened up about the experience being less than ideal.

“I had a terrible experience,” Demi told Billboard at the time. The singer added. “This one celebrity was a complete b***h and was miserable to be around. It was very cliquey. I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink.”

Demi went straight from the Gala to an AA meeting, and said, “I changed my clothes, but I still had my diamonds on millions of dollars of diamonds on in an AA meeting. And I related more to the homeless people in that meeting who struggled with the same struggles that I deal with than the people at the Met Gala—fake and sucking the fashion industry’s d***.”
Lovato completed her look for this year's Met Gala with makeup by KIKO Milano makeup, which included a sultry eye and a glossy lip. She accessorized with De Beers jewelry and a drop necklace that complemented the silver dress.
Lovato also wore a massive engagement ring from her fiance Jutes. Later this year, the star will make her directing debut with Hulu’s documentary ‘Child Star,’ following her successful year of songwriting in 2023.

Lovato's return to Met Gala was not approved by social media users, with a person writing on Instagram, "I dont like this person."
Another user wrote, "So much of plastic surgery." A user wrote, "Fake lips." A user wrote, "Holy forehead."
Another user said, "Makeup is so terrible." A user said, "Makeup artist should be fired."
The next user wrote, "That looks like AI." A user said, "Sorry. Nope, from head to toe, nope. Demi needs a new stylist and a photographer knowledgeable about proper angles and light would also be useful."
