Nathan wanted to soared high in sky
Nathan's family informed that he wanted to become a pilot, but he loved basketball just like his elder brother and used to play guard at Montverde Academy.
The Barrett family issued a statement on Nathan’s death, "While our family is devastated by this great loss, we will continue to cherish the memories and time spent together," it said.
"Nathan was a God-fearing young man of strong character. He was thoughtful, kind, loving, compassionate, creative, admirable and driven."
RJ and Nathan's father, Rowan Barrett, is Canada Basketball's general manager, reports NYP.
Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau also reacted to the early demise of Nathan, “I always tell my former players if you were on my team even one season you will always be family and don’t forget it.”
“If you have had the pleasure of knowing this family you know how much they do for the basketball community so keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”

My kids are about the same age as Rowan and Kesha's kids. I haven't had a five-minute conversation where Rowan didn't give me an update on his boys and ask about my two. Their love for their boys was boundless, it was always clear, & now their Nathan is gone. Just crushing. https://t.co/0aBSahfwnJ
