WILDWOOD, NEW JERSEY: During a recent monologue on Fox News' 'The Five' on May 14, Jesse Watters criticized former President Donald Trump's declining support at his New Jersey rally, noting that it wasn't 100,000 attendees as claimed, but rather closer to 30,000.

Fox News reported that Trump attracted a crowd of up to 100,000 supporters in Wildwood, New Jersey, on May 12, marking what is being hailed as the largest political rally in the state's history.

Buoyed by the massive turnout, Trump expressed confidence in winning New Jersey in November, eliciting an eruption of support from the crowd, stating, "As you can see today, we’re expanding the electoral map because … we’re going to win the state of New Jersey."

Watters makes sarcastic commentary on Trump's rally

Highlighting Trump's rally, Watters said "Johnny was there," referring to someone he sent, adding, "You’ll see that the night. He says it wasn’t 100,000. It’s closer to 30,000. That is still a packed venue. That is still, I would say, 29,500 more than Joe has ever had."

The sarcasm was evident as Watters continued, poking fun at Trump's promises during the rally, remarking, "He did promise that if he was reelected to terminate the windmills on the Jersey Shore and save the whales. And save the whales. I like the new nickname."

During his rally Trump didn't hold back, describing President Joe Biden as a "total moron."

"Moron Joe," as Watters pointed out, referencing Trump's nickname for his opponent, adding, "If you have one side calling you a dictator and the other says you are a 'moron,' that stinks."

"He’s breaking the bag. He doesn’t know where he is when he leaves the stage," the host quipped, highlighting perceived issues with Trump's public appearances.

Watters went on to analyze the electoral landscape, pointing out Trump's challenges in key states. "If you look at these polls, they're out of reach in Nevada, by double digits in Arizona. And Georgia, because of Laken Riley and Fani Willis, that's gone. That puts it in the battle. They only need one. It looks like they're going to come back home."

He didn't shy away from discussing Trump's struggle to maintain support, especially among certain demographics, stating, "He lost some of that fight he had with Hillary. You know how persnickety they could be. They went to Joe Biden. The whites are coming home."

Reportedly, in front of tens of thousands of cheering supporters, Trump didn't hold back in criticizing Biden, stating, "You could take the 10 worst presidents in the history of our country, add them up... and they haven’t done the damage to our country that this total moron has done."

Internet slams Watters' Trump's rally attendees claim

Watters' assertion that Trump’s rally didn’t draw 100,000 attendees but was closer to 30,000 received nothing short of criticism on social media.

"One viewer remarked, "Did he take truth serum?"

Another viewer chimed in, "Watters trying out factual journalism? Did he suffer a concussion?"

One viewer noted, "I'm just surprised Jesse Watters can be truthful."

A follower observed, "So 30k is also a fake number."

One comment read, "He's still exaggerating, and you can tell he knows he is as he kinda chuckles at himself when he says 30K because he doesn't even believe the words coming out of his mouth. We've already learned from the city that the pier only has a 5K capacity. They wouldn't allow 30k people…"

Another comment read, "You people are all so hilarious. Truly."

"Wow. When even Jesse Waters says they're lying," explained one individual.
