MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Outside the Manhattan courthouse, fans of Sean 'Diddy' Combs erupted in celebration, spraying baby oil on each other in a wild nod to the trial’s most talked-about evidence.

The eccentric display on July 2 followed the news that Diddy was found not guilty of the most serious charges after a nearly two-month trial.

While the music mogul was convicted on two counts that could carry up to 20 years in prison, his supporters were undeterred, jubilantly dousing themselves in what many dubbed his “freak-off” lubricant of choice.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs fans erupt in celebration outside court after mixed verdict

A crowd of Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ passionate supporters erupted into celebration outside the Manhattan courthouse after the rapper was acquitted of some of the most serious charges brought against him. Shouts of “Let Puffy go!” echoed through the streets as fans reveled in the mixed verdict.

The celebration quickly turned chaotic. Baby oil, a key piece of evidence during the trial, was sprayed over the crowd as eccentric dancers took to the streets. The spectacle drew in riot police, who were forced to intervene and remove some attendees to restore order. Charlie Lucci, a supporter and family friend of Sean

Many fans wore T-shirts emblazoned with slogans like “A freako is not a rico,” referencing the now-dismissed racketeering charge. Others sported “Sean John” apparel, proudly representing Diddy’s fashion line.

One enthusiastic supporter waved small baby oil bottles similar to those shown in court and proceeded to douse a shirtless man with the contents.

“Basically, today the jury decided that a freako is not a rico,” one woman told Daily Mail.

Amid the celebration, some voices struck a more serious tone. One man addressed the crowd, expressing hope that Diddy seeks help. “Hopefully he do get some therapy. Hopefully he does get some help. Seek some help," he urged, while another agreed, adding, “Stay away from the drugs and the addiction.”

A female fan who claimed to have attended several of Diddy’s infamous parties defended him, saying, “I’ve never seen anything but generosity and positivity.”

Still, not everyone in the crowd was satisfied with the outcome. “Diddy needs to sit his a** down because nobody is above the law,” one man said. “No matter how much money you think you have. You cannot buy everything.”

Despite his partial acquittal, Diddy’s legal troubles are far from over. The judge denied his legal team’s request for a $1 million bail, meaning he will remain in custody until his sentencing on October 3.
