Diddy suffers festive meltdown over spending Christmas in prison, requests to be taken to hospital
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sean 'Diddy' Combs reportedly experienced a major emotional meltdown over the holiday season while detained at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
Sources claim the rapper, who has been behind bars since September, became distraught on Christmas Eve, allegedly pleading with guards to be transferred to the prison hospital, believing he was on the verge of a breakdown.

"With his high-powered legal team Diddy thought he’d be out on bail by now," an insider revealed.
"Spending the holidays behind bars was a nightmare for him. He eventually managed to calm himself down with the meditation technique he’s been using while he’s been behind bars. It took him a few hours of deep breathing and focusing to get out of the bad space he was in, but he finally managed it."
However, a representative close to the rapper denied the claims, insisting Diddy is staying strong despite missing his family during the holidays.
According to DailyMail.com, Diddy endured a 'bleak' Christmas in a Brooklyn jail. The music mogul is reportedly declining meals while in custody, awaiting his federal trial on trafficking charges.
Diddy appears thinner and grayer in court after months in jail
The embattled music mogul facing several federal charges, made a rare court appearance on December 18, sparking widespread discussion about his visibly changed appearance.
Reports indicate that Diddy, who has spent three months in federal custody following his September 16 arrest, appeared "astonishingly thinner" and "grayer" during the hearing. Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner, present at the court, commented on the stark contrast between Diddy's current look and his appearance just days before his arrest.
“He appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect (from him being) inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now,” Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner stated after Diddy's hearing."
Millner stated. "A lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before, but he appeared very noticeably thinner, and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him.”
A source close to Diddy told Page Six that the "Bad Boy for Life" rapper remains "fit, healthy, and fully focused on his defense."
Diddy has been denied bail three times since his arrest on federal charges, including trafficking, racketeering, and other allegations. A trial date has been set for May 5, 2025, as the months-long investigation into his alleged activities continues.
