Fall from grace: Diddy's A-list pals abandon him after rapper accused of severe sexual abuse in lawsuits
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing severe accusations of sexual abuse in three different lawsuits, which has put him in the spotlight.
However, the effects are not just being felt in court as the famous rapper's once-vibrant social circle is pulling away from the troubled individual.
A-list friends have severed relations with Diddy
Some of Diddy's A-list friends have severed relations with him while he fights the alarming allegations. "The shift is palpable, with influential figures no longer willing to associate themselves with the controversial music and fashion icon," a source said, as per OK magazine.
"The accusations (which have yet to be adjudicated) have cast a shadow over Diddy's reputation and created a ripple effect in his social and professional spheres," the source added.
"The once-vibrant gatherings at his opulent events are now marked by conspicuous absences, as friends and associates opt for a cautious distance," the source noted.

Cassie accused Diddy of horrendous acts
As per reports, in a federal complaint filed earlier this year, R&B legend Casandra Ventura, often known as Cassie, accused Diddy of horrendous acts of physical and sexual assault.
According to the legal petition, Cassie, who dated Diddy from 2005 to 2018, was coerced into sexual acts with sex workers, given narcotics, and beaten during her relationship with the producer. She also claimed that he broke into her house and raped her shortly before they parted ways.
According to a DCPI statement, the record executive is not currently being investigated by the NYPD. "The YPD always treats allegations of sexual assault and rape extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so that support and services can be offered to survivors and a comprehensive investigation can be conducted," the statement said at the time.
Diddy's attorney Ben Brafman defends client
Following Cassie and the rapper's legal settlement, Diddy's attorney Ben Brafman also made a statement, stating that it was "in no way an admission of wrongdoing."
The attorney told OK!, "Mr Combs' decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms Ventura the best."
The attorney added, "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best."
