LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sean "Diddy" Combs' mother, Janice Combs, has broken her silence about the music mogul's legal woes, and her stance appears to mirror that of her son.

In a statement to Local 10 News, the "devastated and profoundly saddened" mother emphasized that while Diddy may not have been fully honest about matters related to Cassie Ventura, that doesn’t mean he is guilty of all the allegations in his indictment.

Diddy was arrested in New York on September 16 and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He remains in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center without bail.

As the clock ticks down to his next court date, Janice stands firmly by her son, ready to challenge the narrative surrounding him.

What did Janice Combs say about Sean 'Diddy' Combs' indictment?

Janice Combs spoke out about the accusations brought against Sean "Diddy" Combs on Sunday, October 6, through her attorney, Natalie G Figgers.

She expressed her devastation over the accusations, saying he has been judged not by the truth but by a "narrative created out of lies," as per TMZ.

Janice added, "To bear witness to what seems like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words."

She also addressed the disturbing video footage that allegedly shows Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, saying, "Sometimes, the truth and a lie become so closely intertwined that it becomes terrifying to admit one part of the story, especially when that truth is outside the norm or is too complicated to be believed."

She believes her son's settlement with Cassie triggered a chain reaction leading to the current situation and insists that he deserves his day in court to prove his innocence against the serious charges.

"The worst part of this ordeal is watching my beloved son be stripped of his dignity, not for what he did, but for what people choose to believe about him," said Diddy's mother.

Janice emphasized Diddy is "not the monster they have painted him to be" and made it clear that she will support her son as he prepares for his next court date scheduled for Wednesday when his attorneys will once again argue for him to be released on bail.

Janice Combs' defense of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sparks intense debate

After hearing Sean "Diddy" Combs' mother's defense against her son's accusers and serious charges, many internet users shared their opinions online, with some criticizing her response.

One said, "No parent wants to believe that the child they raised is capable of such atrocities. And no human being is 100% pure evil all the time. I'm sure his activities were shielded from her, but that doesn't mean that he is not capable of acting like a monster."

A person remarked, "She just know them assets bout to be frozen," and someone else added, "And he has never been a monster."

"Well ofcourse she's going to side with her son," opined one more. Another person expressed, "Many moms will say that. He’s been protected for so many years by corrupt politicians & some law enforcement agencies. They’ll still won’t release all the peoples names on those videos of illegal doings. They had plenty of time to edit them."

"When these celebrities get accused of this stuff, everybody wants to think they’re so innocent, when you get that rich, and you get that many people around you who will do whatever you say, sometimes you make really bad choices," remarked an individual.

One simply said, "She looks like she needs some help herself."
