LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Homeland Security raided the residences of rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs in Miami and Los Angeles on Monday, March 25, in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation.

The music mogul might not have been present at either residence, but two of his sons likely were.

Two males who were later revealed to be Diddy's sons — Justin and Christian — were being held by agents, sources informed ABC7 News. While officials searched the property, the two sons were being held outside rather than being placed under arrest.

The raid was carried out in the Los Angeles area of Holmby Hills by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). According to the New York Post, federal sources revealed that Diddy, 54, had his Miami home seized as part of a related probe.

Diddy's two boys were "reportedly detained at the scene" of the raid on his Beverly Hills home, law enforcement officials told ABC News, as per the broadcast of 'ABC World News Tonight With David Muir.'

According to ABC News, they were freed without being prosecuted. Which of Diddy's sons was there at the house was not mentioned in the initial story, but TMZ later revealed that it was Justin and King Combs.

Several agents were observed searching through the property, pulling out boxes, and even going through the cushions on the furniture used for outdoor swimming pools.

Although neighbors remain unaware of any illicit activity going on, they do report seeing gatherings at the property that lasted all night.

Homeland Security issued a statement saying: "Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available."
