LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Doctors have raised fresh concerns over Justin Bieber's health following the singer's disturbing livestream on Instagram over the weekend and said it "seems like a cry for help."

In the livestream, which has since become viral, Bieber was seen shirtless and hollow-eyed as he played some raw demos for fans with lyrics "I'm sick and tired of hurting you, baby."

Doctors raise concerns over Justin Bieber's health following livestream

After watching the clip, experts told the Daily Mail that they were concerned about how the 'Baby' singer looked "physically and emotionally drained".

Jonathan Alpert, a psychotherapist in Manhattan, told the outlet, "From what we see in the video, Justin Bieber appears disheveled, fatigued, and possibly unwell. People are naturally concerned."

Meanwhile, Dr Gaurav Bharti, a plastic surgeon in North Carolina, said that Bieber seemed "very gaunt" and "a far cry from the Bieber we all know and love."

He added, "You see this video, he has some scruff on his face, this is obviously a case where this guy is huddled up at home and goes live on something almost looking not his best."

Dr Bharti further mentioned, "We still love Justin, we still listen to his music, the kids still listen to it, he's a legend and people still want to hear from him and want him to be relevant. He deserves so much support."

Interestingly, Bieber had earlier revealed that he struggled with Xanax abuse and added that he would take the anti-anxiety drug to drown out feelings of shame and humiliation that he felt about his life choices, per the outlet.

Meanwhile, Alpert said, "It’s possible Bieber is simply exhausted from the demands of his career and personal life. The best thing anyone can do—whether they’re a celebrity or not—is recognize when they need help and seek it from someone who will hold them accountable, not just tell them what they want to hear."

Talking about the video, Dr Bharti also mentioned, "You know, this seems like a cry for help. He looks in a very different state to the normal Bieber that all of us have known and gotten fond of."

He added, "He looks much older, much more mature, more like he's been through some stuff. He looks aged and tired, with maybe a nutritional status compromised by a lack of sleep and food."

Justin Bieber looks hollow-eyed in new video

During the livestream, a shirtless Justin Bieber with hollowed eyes rapped to some explicit lyrics while making gestures with his hands. Later in the video, he seemed to cover his head with an orange blanket.

Notably, over the past two days, the singer also went on a posting spree, where he made several social media posts, both on his Instagram account and his Instagram Stories.

In one of his pictures, he was seen wearing a turban, while in another, he shared a close-up of his eyes.

This happened as fans speculated that Bieber's wife, Hailey, unfollowed him on Instagram when he did not appear in her following list for a few moments.

However, it was later revealed to be a glitch on the app, and he was visible on her following list. Hailey also took to her social media to confirm the glitch and wrote on TikTok, “It’s a glitch. Didn’t unfollow him. Hope this helps!”
