Donald Trump brings along Laura Loomer with him to debate while Melania remains conspicuously absent

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: Prominent conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer was seen getting off the jet of former president Donald Trump on Tuesday, September 10, as he arrived in Philadelphia for his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

The 78-year-old came to the city with a group of MAGA supporters but Melania Trump was nowhere to be seen before her husband's much-anticipated debate with his Democratic rival Harris. 

Laura Loomer becomes one of Donald Trump's most staunch supporters

In recent times, conservative commentator Laura Loomer has emerged as one of Donald Trump's most devoted supporters on social media.

Spreading conspiracies involving anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment is nothing new for Loomer. She has also played a significant role in promoting the hoax that claims Harris is not actually Black.

Loomer has identified herself as a White nationalist and even celebrated on social media at the drowning deaths of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea by tweeting "Good. Here's to 2000 more."

Where is Melania Trump?

It is not clear where Melania Trump planned to watch the showdown develop even though media cameras followed former president Donald Trump's every move and failed to catch a glimpse of her when the Republican contender's crew disembarked from his private jet on Tuesday afternoon. 

However, according to the US Mirror, Melania and her son Barron were planning to watch the debate from home. Meanwhile, the former first lady has also been sharing videos to promote 'Melania', her upcoming memoir, which will be available in October.

She did not attend the criminal trial of her husband in New York and refrained from speaking at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. It was only on the last night of the three-day event that she attended her husband's address.

Donald Trump instructs his team to hire Laura Loomer

Last year, The New York Times reported that Donald Trump had directed his team to proceed with the hiring of Laura Loomer.

However, the negative response to the revelations of her possible employment convinced him to reconsider. Despite this, Loomer has continued to predict that she will take on the role of press secretary for Trump should he be elected for another term.

“Someday I will be his Press Secretary. I will protect him from all of his enemies and haters. They will meet their match in me. #Trump2024,” she tweeted last summer, per the US Mirror. 

Laura Loomer's racist jabs at Kamala Harris

Donald Trump has complimented Laura Loomer on multiple occasions by reposting a tweet from Loomer that states Kamala Harris "is not Black".

“Not only does Kamala Harris’s own birth certificate prove that she is LYING about being black, but CNN even once did a whole video interview about how Kamala is INDIAN," Loomer wrote.

This followed comments Trump had made at a National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) event where the former president said “I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black.”

Netizens poked fun of Donald Trump for not having his wife by his side prior to the much-anticipated debate between him and Kamala Harris.

One X user tweeted, "Where is his loving wife Melania? Lol."

Another added, "No Melania? Not even the AI version? Awe that’s too bad. Hahahahahaha." 

"Fish lips emerges followed by Yam Tits. Quite the support group. Did I miss Melania again? Dang, hate when she never shows up said no one ever," remarked one while someone else wrote, "Well, it's not like he can afford for Melania to go.."

"Melania must still be at the immigration office, looking for the documents she promised nine years ago," said one user.
