CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE: Former President Donald Trump shockingly blamed Nikki Haley for the January 6 Capitol insurrection, raising suspicions of his cognitive decline.

While addressing his supporters in Concord, New Hampshire, on Friday, January 19, the Republican frontrunner repeated Haley's name multiple times while talking about January 6.

77-year-old Trump whined that "they never report the crowd on January 6," then repeated "Nikki Haley" thrice and then claimed that the January 6 select committee destroyed all the evidence and information.

"All of it because of lots of things, like Nikki Haley is in charge of security. We offered her 10,000 people," the White House hopeful said.

The applause turned to confusion as the crowd fell silent upon hearing him accuse the former UN ambassador of the Capitol insurrection.

Trump's confused remarks came amid the indictments against him filed by special counsel Jack Smith, alleging his involvement in attempting to overturn the 2020 election results.

He recently also took to his Truth Social account, doubling down on his demand for "full immunity" in connection to the insurrection events.

Trump confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi

Liberal news network Meidas Touch suggested Trump might have confused Haley with then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Following the January 6 attack, a conspiracy theory claimed that Pelosi blocked the National Guard from entering the Capitol building that day. Associated Press has debunked this theory, reporting she and the Senate Majority leader did call for military assistance, including the National Guard.

Trump after attending his mother-in-law Amalija Knav's funeral on January 18, he flew back to the Granite State to boost his campaign ahead of the primary on January 23.

Despite his landslide victory in the Iowa caucus, the GOP frontrunner is facing tight competition from Haley in New Hampshire.

Internet reacts to Trump's confusion

Days after Biden was led off stage by First Lady Jill Biden after a campaign speech now, netizens are in shock at the possibility of Trump's cognitive decline.

One user remarked, "It's like watching a train derail."

Another user wrote, "He’s PICKLING in real time."

"This is frightening. He blamed Nikki Haley for January 6 insurrection. He said she was in charge of security," read a third response.

A fourth user added, "Clearly, the @GOP has no problem with a Presidential candidate with dementia. Scary stuff."

"We’re two rallies away from a diminished Trump getting confused and blaming Theodore Roosevelt for COVID," said one user.

Another user opined, "I'm trying to see the "cognitive decline". Apparently if you repeat a name to make a point, it means you are old and unfit."

"Someone needs to stop the madness, and we need to somehow figure out why such a large section of the party is buying into this clown show," read another response.
