WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump had some choice words for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz after the Democrat claimed he could take on most of the MAGA leader's supporters in a fight.

The 78-year-old commander-in-chief didn’t hold back, dismissing Walz as a "loser" while interacting with Fox News' Peter Doocy on Friday, March 21, Mediaite reported.

Donald Trump fires back at Tim Walz's comment

When Peter Doocy read Tim Walz’s "I think I can kick most of their a**" remark aloud, Donald Trump responded with a smirk. "Oh boy, he’d be in trouble," he quipped.

The president then doubled down, mocking Walz’s political career and suggesting he had been a liability for Democrats.

"Well, he’s a loser," Trump said. "The guy’s a loser. He lost an election… Usually, a vice president doesn’t play a part, they say, but I think Tim played a part. I think it was so bad that he hurt her (Kamala Harris). But she hurt herself, and Joe (Biden) hurt them both. They didn’t have a great group, but I would probably put him at the bottom of the group."

Doocy followed up, asking Trump, "Have you heard that Biden wants to get back involved for Democratic politicians fundraising and campaigning against your policies?"

"I hope so. I hope so," Trump said.

Meanwhile, Walz has been on a media blitz, ramping up his attacks on Trump and reflecting on the Democrats’ losses.

In a recent MSNBC interview, he claimed, "We wouldn’t be in this mess if we had won the election, and we didn’t. We have to make sure that Americans know it’s not just that Donald Trump is bad, but we’re offering them something better, and I think that’s what we need to work on."

One wrote, "President Trump always tells it like it is!" and another added, "Classic Trump, no filter, always speaks his mind."

Others saw it as a direct hit on Walz’s political standing, with one comment reading, "Trump always knows how to call them out. Walz wouldn’t stand a chance against a real fighter."

"He’s right. He hurt Kamala more than helped her," a person commented, referencing Trump's remark about Walz hurting Harris' 2024 election bid. Another echoed, "Harris and Walz were a doomed pair from the start. Two losers that deserved each other."

"He’s a loser, and Trump just exposed him. Nobody’s scared of Walz, especially not Trump supporters," one more wrote.
