MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account on Wednesday, June 5 to express his outrage over the civil fraud verdict made against him in February.

The judgment has left him responsible for over $450 million in damages and has limited his ability to operate in New York.

'I built a Magnificent Business': Donald Trump's angry tirade to the fraud judgment

Trump's statement came just days after he was convicted in a New York City courtroom on 34 counts of falsifying business records, marking the first time a former president has been charged with a felony.

In his Truth Social post, Trump criticized the judgment, claiming that his business had significantly contributed to the rebuilding of New York City and the state.

Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump's criminal trial to begin on April 15, which would make it the first criminal prosecution of a former American president. "I built a Magnificent Business, which helped rebuild New York City and State, with Amazing, Unparalleled, Historic Properties and tons of CASH, which Crooked Joe Biden and his Prosecutors are trying to wrongfully and illegally take away from me," Trump wrote.

'Fake Case': Donald Trump on civil fraud verdict

The former President further criticized the legal process, arguing that the statute used against him was unprecedented in its application.

"The statute used to attack me has never been used for such a terrible purpose before — No Jury allowed, ridiculous $18 Million for Mar-a-Lago, ignored Statute of Limitations, Ironclad Disclaimer Clauses, No Damages, No Victims, just a Fake 'Case,'" he stated.

The former president is in the process of appealing the fraud decision, which was decided by Judge Arthur Engoron, Raw Story reported.

Trump initially had difficulty securing the bond until an appellate court reduced it to $175 million and extended the time frame for securing it.

He also indicated his intention to appeal his recent criminal conviction to a higher New York court. However, he will have to wait until his sentencing, which is scheduled for July 11.

Donald Trump's vows for continued  'fight to end this Sham'

In his post, Trump also voiced broader criticisms of "Communist China," and the "Soviet Union model of businesses." He claimed it was one of the "Crooked Joe-directed Hoaxes" used stop companies from entering New York.

"If they did they would be crazy, because they don’t need the Communist China, or old Soviet Union model of business to interfere with their Prosperity and Success, and all of the other Crooked Joe-directed Hoaxes, once and for all," Trump wrote.

"We will continue to fight to end this Sham, which is forcing companies and people to flee New York, and not allowing any companies to enter," Trump added.

He concluded his statement with a rallying cry to his supporters, stating, "MAGA!"

Internet says Donald Trump is a 'con artist'

The Internet reacted with comments like Trump's claims were a lie and addressed him with the word convict.

"You put your name in buildings. Straight up you are the best con artist ever, I'll give you that. But as for buildings, you built Nothing," one user reacted on X.

"Oh please you didn’t do anything except cheat, steal and lie," wrote one more suggesting cases against Trump were fair.

One more said posting about it was not going to help, "Pro tip: Tweeting your petty grievances is not going to impact the current judgment. Save it for your appeal, but as you do this, bring in something that’s legitimately appealable or you will get nowhere."

One asked "When did you ask for a jury?" another however said, "We need to understand that Trump is not only facing an evil political war but also a fierce spiritual one as he is leading the change of regime. That is why he needs a lot of our prayers."
