WASHINGTON, DC: In a fiery rebuttal to Fox News host Jesse Watters' recent outrageous comments, Doug Emhoff's ex-wife, Kerstin Emhoff, has stepped up to defend Vice President Kamala Harris.

The 46-year-old television personality faced significant backlash after making a grotesque suggestion that generals "would have their way" with Harris in the situation room if she were elected president.

"There are many things to worry about, but Kamala being manhandled in the situation room is not one of them," Kerstin blasted in a sharp-tongued post on X. Her defense comes amid a storm of criticism directed at Watters for his shocking remarks on 'The Five.'

Jesse Watters' co-hosts shocked by his crude remarks

"What is her foreign policy?" Jesse Watters questioned. "This is where the commander-in-chief has the most impact. We don’t know who she is. We don’t know what she believes."

Watters' statement that Harris would "get paralyzed in the situation room while the generals have their way with her" left many appalled.

Even his co-hosts seemed taken aback by his crude language. Co-host Judge Jeanine Pirro quickly admonished him, saying, "Jesse Watters, I don’t like that. Take it back." Watters, attempting to deflect the heat, claimed his words were meant "figuratively," but his attempt to clarify fell flat.

"Have their way with her! Control her," Watters continued, "Not in a sexual way," he added awkwardly, as co-host Greg Gutfeld appeared to laugh in the background. "Ukraine's actually now invading Russia and you're gonna have her as commander in chief?" he added.

Notably, Emhoff and Kerstin were married in 1992 and divorced in 2008 after 16 years together. Doug met Kamala in 2013, and they married a year later in 2014.

Jesse Watters' double standards highlighted

The backlash was swift and intense, with viewers and commentators condemning Jesse Watters for his sexist and demeaning language.

American journalist Yashar Ali highlighted the double standard, questioning, "Would Watters use this sexualized language when describing a straight man? He likely wouldn't!"

In a bizarre twist, Watters' recent comments are part of a troubling pattern. Earlier in July, he stirred controversy by suggesting that women who vote for Harris have "mommy issues," and that men who vote for her might "transition into a woman."

These remarks only fueled the controversy further, amplifying calls for Watters to be held accountable for his offensive rhetoric.

Netizens erupt over Jesse Watters’ crude remarks

In the wake of Jesse Watters' controversial comments about Vice President Kamala Harris, social media users are voicing their outrage with sharp critiques and demanding accountability.

"Will someone explain to Muddying DA Watters that Kamala has been involved in the Situation Room many times over the last 3 1/2 years," a user tweeted.

"I’m more afraid of Donald Trump falling asleep in the situation room. Kamala can handle herself," a second said.

"These people are such s**tbags. The generals are going to be there to serve the president. To imply that they're going to sexually assault her because she's a woman, and that's why she shouldn't be POTUS is disgusting beyond any description I am able to come up with," a user added.

"They are disgusting. Sick individuals," said a user.

"That was so messed up even the crews going at him," tweeted another.

"There was a time not so long ago when ppl most likely would be taken off the air, and possibly fired for saying anything such as this. He's a real jerk, to say the least," added a user.

"This is how these guys talk about their own daughters when they're not around too," said a user.
