Dua Lipa joins Seth Meyers for day drinking, takes part in a game of 'IDGAF' Truth or Drink
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On the latest edition of Seth Meyers' late-night NBC talk show, the comedian was joined by Dua Lipa for a session of day drinking.
The fact that they kicked things off by making a shot disappear in honor of Lipa's new single 'Houdini' added a playful and thematic touch to the drinking session.
Notably, Lipa recently dropped a fresh single titled 'Houdini', signifying her comeback to solo music following the launch of the club-ready album 'Future Nostalgia' in 2020, along with its deluxe version featuring additional tracks in 2021.

Lipa, decked out in a black and red leather jacket, joined Meyers at the bar, who took the honor of crafting their first drink, an "Houtini," blending vodka, tequila blanco, white rum, and blue curacao.
However, both were left unimpressed by it, leading Meyers to wittily remark about hoping the magician was better than the drink. Their second concoction, the "Abracadabra," featured a mix of Magic Hat beer and Harry Potter butter beer, topped with gummies.
The host playfully challenged the music sensation to act as if she loved it, but her response led to more comedic banter when she took a sip, licked her lips, and said, "Mmm, so good."
"Yeah, we're going to recast," joked Meyers.
Moving on, the duo added a creative twist to their drinking session as Meyers and the singer played a game of pulling cards to determine the ingredients for unique drinks.
She kicked things off by choosing bourbon, and her pronunciation drew some playful teasing from him. The drink they concocted included bourbon, soda, green juice, and Calvados brandy, promising an interesting blend of flavors.
Meyers declared, "The thing is, you and I both know, Dua, this drink is going to suck a**," even before tasting their creation.
Agreeing with the host, Lipa chimed in, "Yeah, this is disgusting".
Subsequently, Meyers quipped, "You know what, let's look at that camera together and be like we don't care what you guys think Dua, and are living our best life and we're going to drink this and we're going to smile like it was good."
Both took a drink and mustering a smile, she said, "Mmm, so good."

Dua Lipa and Meyers then engaged in a "water torture" drinking game, involving shots of gin, vodka, tequila, and water. "You get to stop when it's water," remarked Meyers before they started playing.
For his initial shot, the late-night host got water, while Lipa had to take multiple shots before finally getting a glass of water. Meyers took multiple shots to catch up, and then both took a shot in unison.
As they continued drinking, both confessed to having more fun after removing their jackets.
Lipa shared, "So many nights when I'm drunk, I always think about designers. I go, no one thinks about the drunk girl, no one thinks about the drunk girl. The amount of times that I've clipped myself into a body suit or put buttons on wrong. Nobody thinks about the drunk girl."
Subsequently, they took turns either responding to questions or taking shots.
Meyers asked, "Tell me someone you think is a fake a** b***h."
Lipa replied, "There are many fake a** b****es in this world. I'm not planning on saying it right now," as she took a shot.
When asked to choose between Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce, Lipa refrained from answering, leading the host to call her a "coward."
Later, an announcer stated that the singer needed a few minutes followed by her team saying that she needed a bit more time. Soon after, her team noted, "Dua has to go home now."
Meyers quipped, "This meant no Barbie dream house used as a shot luge and no Seth and Dua recreating the 'Houdini' music video."
