‘DWTS’ fans livid as Joey Graziadei wins mirrorball trophy despite Stephen Nedoroscik’s perfect score
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Dancing with the Stars’ wrapped up its 33rd season by handing over the famed mirrorball trophy to the ‘Bachelor’ alum Joey Graziadei and his choreographer-partner Jenna Johnson on Tuesday, November 26.
While Joey and Jenna won by the popular vote, several fans on social media were left dissatisfied with the result.
Knew it from the first ep that Joey was willing to work hard for that mirrorball.🥹 AND JENNA'S CHOREOGRAPHY THROUGHOUT THE SEASON WAS AMAZING 🔥❤️🔥🤌🏻 #DWTS #DWTSFinalepic.twitter.com/YFJPQsB2OD

As the winning pair walked away with the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, ‘DWTS’ fans took to social media to voice their discontent over the result.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson take home trophy defeating Olympians
The grand finale of ‘DWTS’ Season 33 was a supersized affair with all the finalists putting their best foot forward to awe the judges and the audience.
The pair of Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson moved past celebrities like Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola and pro Witney Carson; ‘Zombies’ star Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong; Olympian rugby player Ilona Maher and pro Alan Bersten; and Olympic medalist gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and pro Rylee Arnold, to clinch the title.
While Joey and Jenna lifted the winner’s trophy, Maher and Bersten were the runners-up. Kinney and Armstrong took third place with Nedoroscik and Arnold coming in fourth. Amendola and Carson were left in fifth following the finale.
For their performance in the grand finale, the 29-year-old Joey and his 30-year-old choreographer danced in a tennis-inspired freestyle to ‘Canned Heat’ by District 78 featuring Jake Simpson. This performance, in turn, was a tribute to his pre-’Bachelor’ job as a tennis instructor.
They also performed cha-cha for their redemption dance to Justin Timberlake's ‘Can't Stop the Feeling!’, earning a perfect score.
During the finale, Nedoroscik finally received the perfect score as he brought back his pommel horse routine (for which he received his individual medal in the Paris Olympics) in freestyle to the ‘DWTS’ stage.
As the fans were left smitten by his dreamy performance, agitation grew among fans after Joey took home the trophy.
Internet dissatisfied with Joey Graziadei winning 'DWTS' Season 33
'DWTS' fans were left fuming after Joey Graziadei was declared the winner of Season 33. Though some of Joey stans were happy, most of the viewers expressed surprise at this season's ranking.
A user wrote, "If only the finale scores and voting counted I truly believe Stephen & Rylee would be the champions. Both of their dances tonight were AMAZING & their freestyle was not only the best of the night but one of the best in #DWTS history! So proud of them! #DWTSFinale."

"I’m immensely flabbergasted at the results for the finale. How do you get more perfect scores (Chandler & Brandon than ANY couple or make the biggest transformation (Ilona and Alan) and STILL not take home the mirror ball. Something ain’t right…just sayin’," chimed in another disgruntled user.
