Don Felder's legacy with the Eagles and beyond

Don Felder joined the Eagles in 1974, contributing iconic guitar work to hits like 'Hotel California', known for its legendary guitar outro performed with Joe Walsh.

His tenure with the band was, however, marked by conflicts, particularly with frontman Glenn Frey.

Tensions ultimately led to Felder's dismissal in 2001, resulting in a legal battle that was settled out of court in 2007.

Despite the fallout, Felder has continued a successful solo career.

Fans concerned over Don Felder's medical emergency

Following Don Felder's sudden medical emergency onstage, fans of the rock musician took to social media to express their concern over his health condition.

One fan on YouTube commented, "Don is a legend! Praying for quick recovery! Hearing it was dehydration and he is going to be fine after some rest. Getting old sucks and playing gigs takes a lot out of him I'm sure." Another wrote, "What a TOP SHELF support team. Wow!! Hope you get the situation under control Don. You're the nicest guy in the business and you deserve the very best!!" One remarked, "Scary."

"It looks like the staff member was aware that he wasn't feeling great, and was on standby. Then he stepped back and signaled to her. Whatever it is, it seems he was aware of it and hopefully it's under control," a user penned.

An individual wrote, "I hope everything is good for Don? And why do they always blame dehydration as an excuse for what’s the real issue? That female came to his aid , knew something was wrong like immediately! Of course he is welcome to keep his health issues private, it would be nice to know what is going on."
