LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumors of tension between Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Ryan Reynolds during the filming of their 2021 action movie 'Red Notice' have resurfaced after similar circumstances were reported from Johnson's latest production 'Red One'.

Johnson, known for his charismatic persona and action-packed performances, is facing scrutiny after reports emerged of his alleged unprofessional behavior during the production of the upcoming Amazon MGM film, the Wrap reported.

Though a representative for Amazon MGM Studios swiftly dismissed Johnson's latecoming claims, labeling them as "ridiculous and false", the rumors reminded the Internet of the time Reynolds confronted Johnson about his alleged habitual tardiness on set, leading to a supposed rift between the two stars, reported TMZ.

The highly anticipated Christmas release, featuring Johnson alongside Chris Evans and JK Simmons, was initially scheduled for 2023 but faced delays reportedly due to labor strikes. However, insiders reveal a different narrative, citing production issues that led to a skyrocketing budget exceeding $250 million.

Insiders claim that Johnson's chronic tardiness, often arriving late to set by up to eight hours and occasionally missing entire days of production, disrupted filming schedules and inflated costs.

Reports suggest that crew members were forced to shoot around him on days when he didn't show up, exacerbating the logistical challenges.

Johnson's behavior allegedly resulted in confrontations with co-stars, reminiscent of past incidents with Vin Diesel during the 'Fast & Furious' franchise and a reported altercation with Ryan Reynolds on the set of Netflix's 'Red Notice.'

Johnson, who proudly declares himself as "the hardest worker in the room," has garnered a reputation in the industry for his tardiness and perceived lack of professionalism on set, as reported by several insiders who spoke to TheWrap.

Recent reports have shed light on alleged incidents of unprofessional behavior and protocol violations by actor Dwayne Johnson, known as "The Rock," during various film productions.

During the filming of Netflix's 'Red Notice' in 2020, Johnson reportedly clashed with co-star Ryan Reynolds after keeping him waiting for five hours, leading to a "huge fight" and Johnson storming off set.

After years of silence, the two stars recently reconciled. Despite Netflix ordering a sequel to 'Red Notice' in 2022, there has been little progress on the project since then.

“Dwayne is the consummate professional and we’re thrilled to have worked with him on ‘Red Notice,’ our #1 film,” a Netflix spokesperson told TheWrap.

Despite eventually reconciling, the incident highlighted tensions behind the scenes. Additionally, accusations have surfaced regarding Johnson's alleged disregard for strict quarantine rules on the same set, including flying home in a private jet and hosting gatherings in violation of safety protocols.

Concerns have also been raised about the working conditions for crew members on Johnson's productions. Crew members have reported working long hours to qualify for health insurance, with one citing a particularly grueling 14-hour day where Johnson allegedly delayed filming by not emerging from his trailer until late in the day.

Dwayne Johnson faces online criticism
