GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: Elon Musk hit back at hecklers during a town hall event at the KI Convention Center in downtown Green Bay on Sunday, March 30, night.

The Tesla CEO was in the Badger State to show his support to conservative Brad Schimel in the state's high-stakes Supreme Court election, NBC News reported.

“We want to restore individual freedoms. Freedom of speech, just in general. Get the government off your back. Vote for Judge, super Judge Schimel, I call him super Judge Schimel,” Musk said. He also handed $1 million checks to two Wisconsin voters.

During the two-hour event, Musk was disrupted by some attendees, whom the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) blamed as being “operatives” of Democrat donor George Soros,” the Daily Express US reported.

He claimed, “It was inevitable at least a few [George] Soros operatives would be in the audience. Give my regards to George. Say hi to George for me.”

Calling the Tuesday, April 1, election critical for President Donald Trump, Musk stated that it impacts “the future of civilization.”

“It's a super big deal. I'm not phoning it in — I'm here in person,” he added.

The tech billionaire also spoke about DOGE during the event. He said, "The very simple, straightforward goal of the DOGE team is to get rid of waste and fraud."

“It's mostly waste. It's or, depending on how, you know, I'd say it's probably 80% waste, 20% fraud, something like that,” Musk continued.

Justifying the federal agency, Musk asserted, “People see the prices rising at the grocery store or for goods and services or for houses, and they tend to, like, blame the store, but it’s not the store, it’s the government.”

“The government has reduced the value of money, and as a result, prices rise. So by changing — by reducing waste and fraud, we'll essentially make the economy more efficient,” he added.
