WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk has made Donald Trump’s stance on Tesla vandalism clear, as the tech billionaire declared that the president would “go after” the perpetrators who are “pushing the lies” about the company.

Musk’s electric vehicle company, Tesla, found itself at the receiving end of much public dissent following the X CEO’s appointment as the head of the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in January. Following the DOGE’s cost-cutting measures, including cutting the jobs of thousands of federal employees and freezing Congress-appropriated funds, there was severe backlash.

As the 53-year-old PayPal founder’s connection with the Republican government strengthened over the last two months, public dissent has also increased, as reported by Mediaite. Recently appearing on Fox News, Musk finally addressed the issue of Tesla vandalism, while also reflecting on what they would be doing to stop the protests.

Elon Musk shared Donald Trump’s plan to end Tesla vandalism

Amid the ongoing protest against Tesla, Elon Musk, accompanied by a few DOGE members, appeared on Fox News’s ‘Special Report’ on Thursday, March 27, where the host Bret Baier asked about the vandalism.

Directing his questions to the SpaceX CEO, Baier asked, “There’s now been in these many cases, violence and vandalism at Tesla dealerships – how does that affect your employees, your customers?” before adding, “What does it mean to you?”

Replying to the questions, Musk claimed that the main culprits are the ones who propagate “lies” about Tesla and will be thoroughly punished.

“Well, I think a great wrong is being done to the people at Tesla and to our customers,” replied the Tesla boss, and continued, “Tesla’s a peaceful company that has made great cars, great products. That’s all it’s done.”

“It hasn’t harmed anyone,” he continued before slamming the people for attacking the cars, the dealerships, and the charging stations. “And yet people are committing violence. They are firebombing Tesla dealerships,” continued the megabillionaire.

He noted, “They are shooting guns into stores. They’re threatening people. You know, they’re issuing death threats against me and other Tesla personnel.”

He also claimed during his fiery speech that the vandalisms are fueled by the propaganda of the extreme left, and that these people are the main culprits.

“What are they doing this for? Why? And what’s happening, it seems to me, is they’re being fed propaganda by the far left. And they believe it. It’s really unfortunate,” claimed Musk.

“The real problem is not the people– it’s not like the crazy guy that firebombs a Tesla dealership,” shared Musk, as he declared, “It’s the people pushing the propaganda that cause that guy to do it.”

After identifying his main adversaries, Musk shared that they would now be pushing for their punishments. “Those are the real villains here and we’re gonna go after them,” shared the father-of-14, and added, “And the president’s made it clear. We’re gonna go after them.”

“The ones providing the money, the ones pushing the lies and propaganda, we’re going after them,’ explained Musk.

Donald Trump calls Elon Musk a ‘friend of mine’

Elon Musk’s bold challenge against the Tesla vandals came just a few days after Donald Trump declared the DOGE head his “friend.”

During Trump’s recent Cabinet meeting at the White House on Monday, March 24, the commander-in-chief opened up about Musk being a “patriot” and his friend.

Speaking in the congregation that included the likes of Marco Rubio, Robert F Kennedy Jr, and Pete Hegseth, Trump said, "Elon, I want to thank you. I know you've been through a lot with this horrible situation that happens. He is a patriot."

"He's become a friend of mine. He has become a friend of mine and supported me in the election. That's when I got to know him really,” added the POTUS.

He continued, "I knew him a little bit from the first term, but not much/ He has never asked me for a thing. He could have."

Trump concluded with a joke, "That's always subject to change, and if it does change, I'll let you know about it."
