LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billionaire and X owner Elon Musk recreated the infamous 'Let that sink in' meme with a White House twist as GOP nominee Donald Trump inches closer to his second run as the President of the United States.

Elon Musk had come up with the famous 'sink' meme when he bought the social media platform Twitter (now X) in 2022 and decided to walk into the platform’s headquarters with a sink.

In Elon Musk's recent series of posts on the US elections, the tech billionaire shared a meme. It was an edited version of his viral 'sink' moment from 2022.



 

In the edited version he is seen standing inside the White House carrying a sink in his hands.

He used the same caption too, "Let that sink in."

His post came after Trump was projected to become the 47th president of the United States as he won key battleground states and inched closer to the 270 mark.

The Tesla CEO took to X to express his feelings about the election through a series of posts. He wrote in one of his posts, "Game, set and match"  which is a term commonly used in a tennis match to indicate that a player has won.



 

On his part, Trump praised Musk in his victory address. He said, "We have a new star. A star is born — Elon. He is an amazing guy."

While addressing supporters at Palm Beach County Convention Center after the election results, Trump said that he would fight for Americans and their future and the next four years would be the "golden age of America". 

The GOP candidate is projected to win the 2024 presidential election as the latest counting shows he has garnered 267 electoral votes while Kamala Harris secured 214, according to Fox News
