Elon Musk trolled after $20M failed bid to 'influence' Wisconsin Supreme Court race

GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: Elon Musk, who reportedly spent $20 million to support Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel in his Wisconsin Supreme Court race, faced trolling after the conservative candidate lost to Democratic-backed Susan Crawford on Tuesday, April 1.
CBS reported that the Dane County judge headed Schimel 54% to 45%. Musk and groups affiliated with him contributed around $20 million to Schimel's bid.

After her win, the 62-year-old said, "I've got to tell you, as a little girl growing up in Chippewa Falls, I never could have imagined that I'd be taking on the richest man in the world for justice and Wisconsin. And we won!" as per Reuters.

Ken Martin, chair of the Democratic National Committee, said, "Tonight, the people of Wisconsin squarely rejected the influence of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and billionaire special interests."
Crawford voter West Roberts, 26, added, "Supporting everyday people is more important than people who were supporting Elon Musk or the multi-billionaires."

Elon Musk asked people of Wisconsin to vote for 'super Judge Schimel'
As reported earlier, Elon Musk traveled to Wisconsin on March 30 to show support for Brad Schimel before the election.

He held an event at the KI Convention Center in downtown Green Bay, where he insisted on his intent to "restore individual freedoms. Freedom of speech, just in general."
"Get the government off your back. Vote for Judge, super Judge Schimel, I call him super Judge Schimel," the tech billionaire added. He also gave $1 million checks to two Wisconsin voters.
