Elon Musk trolled with hilarious spam emails for ‘weekly work report’ demand from federal employees

WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk’s latest move as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has sparked chaos, resistance, and hilarious trolling.
The billionaire, now overseeing a controversial shake-up of federal agencies, ordered all government employees to justify their jobs by submitting weekly accomplishment reports.
His directive, which included a not-so-subtle warning about job security, triggered an immediate backlash but rather than just complaining, people online decided to have some fun, as reported by Irish Star.
Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week.

According to two sources, including a former Trump administration official, responses to Musk’s recent OPM email have been inundated with pranks and, as the official described, “very rude” messages featuring fabricated and obscene “accomplishments."
"I just sent this email to Musk “HR” team why the f**k did they accept email from non government sources lmao f**king idiots, send them an email yourself : hr@opm.gov," a user wrote.

Elon Musk calls for federal employees to submit weekly reports

Over the weekend, Musk tweeted that all federal employees should be required to submit a weekly email outlining their accomplishments as proof that they are earning their positions.
He wrote, "Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week. Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation."
Should all federal employees be required to send a short email with some basic bullet points about what they accomplished last week?

During a Monday afternoon, February 24, address from the Oval Office, President Donald Trump praised Musk’s email proposal as “ingenious,” adding that those who fail to reply would be considered “semi-fired or fired.”

Rolling Stone reported that the email employees actually received had a slightly different wording. It stated, "Please reply to this email with approx. 5 bullets of what you accomplished last week and cc: your manager. Please do not send any classified information, links, or attachments. Deadline is Monday at 11:59pmEST."
