NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: According to media reports, a 44-year-old woman who went missing two weeks ago was found dead by the Nashville, Tennessee, police on Saturday, March 2 in Whites Creek, north of the metropolitan area.

Emily Bradley's body was found in a creek near Buena Vista Pike, as per the notification from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on Sunday, March 3, WRKN reported.

Emily Bradley died from blunt force trauma

According to the Medical Examiner's Office, the missing woman died from blunt force trauma, the station reported.

Bradley was last seen driving her silver 2014 Chevrolet Cruze in East Nashville, close to Dickerson Pike and Heart Lane, on February 18.

The identity of the driver was unknown, but case investigators told Fox News Digital that on February 21, a license plate reader in the neighboring town of Hendersonville recorded two hits on Bradley's car.

The car was picked up while traveling into and out of the city. Authorities said on March 3 that they are still searching for the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with Florida license plate 086PML, the station reported.

Bradley's phone was turned off on February 18 and hasn't been turned back on, according to the department.

Meanwhile, Nick Bradley drove hundreds of miles from Florida in order to post flyers of his daughter around the area where she went missing. "It's pretty intense. It's intensely terrible," Nick Bradley said to WKRN.

He went on to say, "We don't know what happened, but we think something bad has happened."

Emily Bradley did not show up for her first day at new job

As reported by Fox News, Jaiya Wendall, Bradley's "platonic life partner," said that she has "never gone five days without speaking to [her.]"

The 44-year-old, according to Wendall, did not show up for her first day of work at her new job. "For her to no call, no show on her first day of a job is absolutely not anything she’s ever done or would do for that matter," Wendall stated. "Everything in my core says that there’s something off."

Longtime family friend Judy Rose claimed that Bradley's cherished service dog, Bob Johnson, was abandoned at the missing woman's Burns home.

"Everybody knows when they see Emily, there’s Bob Johnson with her," Rose stated to WKRN. "That’s her service animal of about 23 years. She would never leave Bob Johnson locked up in her home with no caregivers lined up."
